Celebration of the 35th APOTEC Anniversary

Sérgio Pontes, partner at PBA SROC, was one of the guest speakers at the ceremony of the 35th anniversary of APOTEC, which add place at Culturgest on the 22 November 2012, focused on the theme The Current Challenges In Business Organizations. He also joined the panel wich focused on the theme the Economy and Accpounting In Business Organizations.

Financial Audit - Seminar at ISLA Campus Lisboa

Daniela Monteiro, partner at PBA SROC, was one of the speakers at the Seminar Financial Audit wich focused on the theme Audit: Recent Events, realized the 24 September 2012, in the framework of the presentation of postgraduate in Financial Audit, focusing on the theme Continuity and Fair Value. Daniela Monteiro joined the faculty staff of this postgraduate staff, wich the 1ª edition is already in course.

IV Congress of the Ordem dos Técnicos Oficiais de Contas

Sérgio Pontes, partner at PBA SROC, was one of the speakers at the IV Nacional Congress of the TOC, wich add place at Pavilhão Atlântico, on the 14 and 15 September 2012. He presented a work drawn in association with the Professor from ISCTE, Raul Laureano, about Diferencial Financial Reporting, theme that has assumed increasing importance in the accounting world. The work presented attempt to establish a theory witch suport the Diferencial Financial Reporting, presenting empirical evidence gathered from accountants.

ROC Congress - Ethics and Responsability

Luís Baptista, partner at PBA SROC, was one of the speakers at teh ROC Congress witchs focused on the theme Ethics and Responsability realized on the 21 and 22 October 2010, the intervention revolved around the theme sustainability of the small and medium audit firms, including the impact of the green book "audit policies: lessons from the crisis".

The Geneva Group International comes up again, in the study published by the British magazine Accountancy Magazine as the 6th largest international network. GGI currently has 520 offices in 89 countries a total of 17,620 staff members highly skilled in accounting and tax. Annually, Accountancy Magazine, the official journal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, publishes the ranking of the top 25 international networks and associations.
